We spent a couple of hours in the little Irish village of Cong.  It’s one claim to fame is that John Wayne and Maureen O’hara filmed the movie The Quiet Man there in 1952 and they have been living off that event as a tourist attraction ever since.   They did a nice job of taking us through the filming of the movie and even had us reenact some scenes.  Interesting time and certainly different from our normal walking tours.
