Welcome to Galway

We stayed at a hotel on Galway Bay, with great views.   The downtown area was hopping. There are three Universities there so lots of young people, which means lots of pubs and outdoor music.  The covered shopping center in the middle of the city has been built up over the old stone walls of the city giving a really interesting twist on it.  We also attended one of the oldest continuous Irish folk shows in the country.
