Welcome to Koblenz and Marksburg Castle
We docked in Koblenz just outside of town. We had elected to go on a tour of Marksburg castle so we crossed the river by bus and up the mountain to the Castle where we did a pretty extensive tour. It really had good views of the Danube from there and I can see why they built it where they did.

- Marksburg Castle was really a fort to protect the city.
