While we were docked in Hong Kong we took a Jet Boat ferry about 30 minutes to Macau.   As a special administrative region of China it has certain privileges that Mainline China does not have.   It has the highest concentration of mega casinos in the world.  The majority of its revenue comes from the casinos.
