Welcome to Puerto Limon

We did three stops on a ships excursion.  1st was to a Banana plantation, the second on a river wildlife cruise that didn’t really have much wildlife. The third was a train ride along the coast and then it was supposed to be a ride into the rain forest.  Unfortunately a huge tree falling across the tracks prevented us doing the 2nd part of the ride and we had to back up to the train station.  In doing so we were over 1 hr past sailing time of the ship.  Because it was a ships excursion they had to wait for us.   This and one other instance has led us to use ships excursions when possible since we don’t want to be left behind.
