Welcome to Rotorua

We visited Rotorua as part of the land tour of Australia and New Zealand. We were there two nights and we opted to spend one of them at a local family farm.   The folks were really nice and we got a real glimpse into New Zealand life.   We even got up at 5:30 am to visit the next door dairy farm and see the milking process.

Rotorua is also where we really got a look into the Maori people and their history by visiting a replication of a local village, enjoyed a great meal and entertainment.   We also visited Ti Puia, a natural geyser location, which puts Old Faithful in Yellowstone to shame.
