On Day 2 we went back out into the countryside to Catherine’s Palace.  It was built by Peter the Great in the mid 1700’s for his wife Catherine I.   After lunch in a countryside inn we headed back to St. Petersburg to visit the Hermitage Museum, one of the great art museums in all the world to wrap up our two days in St. Petersburg.
