Welcome to Venice

Venice was the end of our 2013 NCL cruise from Barcelona.   The sail in was worth the trip alone. It gave us such a great view of all the little islands in the area as we worked our way into the port.   We then spent the rest of the day touring the city on our own and really got to see a lot of it.   The next day after we left the ship we went to the train station and headed to Paris.   3 years later we did fly into Venice the night before a cruise, but we didn’t have an opportunity to see anymore of the city.   What we did get was a night time sail away back down through the channels into the open sea.      What a unique city and we had a great time.
