My name is Dennis, and along with my wife Joy we have been traveling this amazing world since 2005 when we semi-retired and started our “golden years”.   We started out with a motorhome so that we could take our pets and travel the United States and Canada in search of the elusive big ball of string.  We averaged about 3 months a year seeing 46 of the 48 states, plus a lot of southern Canada, visiting national landmarks and seeing friends and family. 

In 2007 after not finding the ball of string we expanded our search to Alaska and Hawaii and a number of the Caribbean Islands and  in Central America.  We did this along with the motor home trips through 2010 and still didn’t find it.   So in 2012 we decided to travel internationally in search of it.   Traveling internationally can seem to be a daunting task the first time so we chose countries that spoke English and decided to use a tour to do it.  In January of 2012 we spent two weeks in Australia and two weeks in New Zealand. We were hooked.

In 2013 and 2014 we reduced our motor home time and headed to Europe to see the sights there.

In 2015 we sold the motor home after crisscrossing the country multiple times and putting 109,000 miles and spending 705 nights on the road. I also fully retired that year.

Since then we have tried to do two or three trips a year to see the world

We have now traveled to 83 countries and all seven continents.

This has been a combination of Cruises, Land Tours. River Cruises and “On Our Own” trips.

  I have included some pictures of course and in most cases there are short videos we took (no video is longer than two minutes or so.)
