We visited Queenstown as part of the land tour of Australia and New Zealand. This was our first stop in New Zealand after flying there from Sydney.   The landing between the mountains was worth the price of admission alone.   It is a quaint small ski town located in the southern part of the South Island.

We took a cable car to the top of the local mountain for dinner and spectacular views.   We wandered around the city center and just soaked up the local atmosphere.
