We traveled to Santiago after leaving our cruise ship in Valparaiso in January of 2017.   We only did a ships excursion driving tour of the city on our way to the airport for an hour or so. As a result we barely got a feel for the city, but it was beautiful in the parts we saw with lots of parks and green spaces.
