Welcome to Martinique

We visited the island of Martinique only once on a cruise in November 2023.  We booked a non cruise ship excursion. We did a local tour that included several short stops, including visiting a historic church, views of an island river and a climb down and across a stream to a pretty waterfall.   A couple of stops in small towns and a 30 minute opportunity to do a ocean swim rounded out the day.   The roads in Martinique were well maintained and the issues of getting motion sickness was less than some of the other islands we were on.  It did give us a nice overview of the island.
