2024 Cruise From Mauritius to Cape Town, South Africa
We took this cruise in January 2024 from the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of central Africa to Cape Town, South Africa. We were on the Norwegian (NCL) Dawn. We had not been to any of the islands, or the stops in South Africa so everything was new. We had been to Johannesburg several years ago following a safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
Getting there and getting home was a trip in itself. Long flights. 9 hours to Frankfurt from Orlando, then to Paris and then 11 Hours to Mauritius. 16 Hours from Cape Town to Atlanta. Always a blast in Economy.
