Welcome to the Ngorongoro Crater

On our way to the Ngorongoro Crater we stopped at a place for lunch called Gibbs Farm.    It grows a variety of all organic vegetables and coffees. Then the hotel were we stayed for two nights had individual bungalow rooms and each one was the size of a good sized apartment.   Really cool place in itself.

We then traveled to the rim of the crater and of course then went down onto the floor of the crater to see the wildlife.   Unlike most of the wildlife in Africa most of the animals there do not migrate from the area like the other sections of  Africa.  Again great viewing and well worth it.
