Welcome to Jordan

We went to Jordan as the third stop on our Rome to Dubai cruise.  By far the most visited sites in Southern Jordan are the ancient city of Petra and the magnificent landscape known as Wadi Rum.

We did an all day excursion to both.  It was the most expensive excursion we have ever done, but it was worth it.    Petra was amazing and the views in the Wadi Rum from open air Jeeps was really cool.

The countryside from the ship to Petra, then on to Wadi Rum, and then back to the ship was nothing but sand and rock.  The southern part of Jordan is not a place I would want to live.
