Welcome to Jerusalem

On the second day in Israel we did an all day excursion to Jerusalum, a couple of hours away from the port of Haifa.  We stopped for a quick break just outside the city at an Elvis Presley memorabilia restaurant.  It was so out of place, but it was kind of cool to see.

We first got some great overall views of the city from the hillside overlooking the city and that gave us a good perspective.  From there we spent the rest of the day walking around inside the walls of old Jerusalem.

Sites like the Holy Sepulchre church, the multi national sectioned market place and of course the famous Western (wailing) wall.

This was an outstanding tour.
