Oban is located on the western coast of Scotland.   It is a typical small port town that handles the ferries to the outlying islands.

We stayed in a quaint country Inn about 20 minutes outside of the city and it was very nice.  We toured the Oban Whiskey Distillery that was founded in 1794 and it was the perfect example of a small family distillery.
