Welcome to Bran/Dracula’s Castle

The middle stop on our day tour out of Bucharest was to Bran Castle in the village of Bran.   It is believed and of course the village pushes it that it is the home of Dracula from the books by Bram (not Bran) Stoker.   He never even visited there so it is very unlikely the books are based on the castle, but it lives on in folklore.   Bran is located in Transylvania helping the story.   It is not particular large as castles go with small rooms and only the top floor was supposed to be for Dracula. It was an interesting place and we got some good pictures and video. The grounds and the village were also interesting to walk around in.
