Airlie Beach was the second stop on our 2025 cruise from Auckland to Bali.   It was a tender port as the town itself is very small. The tender ride was over 30 minutes long and we had to wait for ferry traffic in order to get off the tender.   Due to the change in itinerary there was an issue with the excursion we had booked with a private company, and we wound up not doing the excursion.   We just walked around the town and soaked up some of the local color.   Airlie Beach is very much a tourist town with a lot of hotels, restaurants etc. The Beaches were very rocky of what we could see.
