Welcome to Dubai

After getting off the cruise ship we spent the day touring the city on a tour we had arranged ahead of time.   It is a really amazing place, but I wish I had done a little more research on what the tour contained and perhaps picked one that included more of the modern part of the city.   We had to fly out the next morning because of the way the ticketing worked out.   We needed at least another day and I would go back in a heartbeat.   We did not get to go up to the top of the worlds tallest buildings observation deck and that was a big disappointment.
