We spent the day in Gdansk on a ships excursion called “Historic Gdansk”. We had to drive from the port of Gdynia to Gdansk, with a stop first on the way to visit the Oliwa Cathedral.   The rest of the tour was a walking tour of downtown Gdansk.  It’s good sized city, and like most northern European cities it shares significant similarities from an architectural and cultural perspective.   It was an enjoyable tour with a fair amount of walking so be aware.
