The island of Madagascar was the supposed to be the second and third stop on our January 2024 cruise on the way to Cape Town, South Africa.     Madagascar is the 4th largest island in the world.        Weather stopped us from docking in the city of Antsiranana on the far north side of the island. We then worked our way down the west side of the Madagascar to a smaller Island called Nosy Be, which is part of Madagascar, and a good sized island on its own.
