We flew to the island of Mauritius in January of 2024 to do a cruise from there to Cape Town, South Africa.  We planned to go in a couple of days early so we could get to see the island before boarding the ship. Mother Nature had a say in that and we were delayed a full day getting there so we got to see very little of the island.  It was a long haul getting there.  We flew 9 hours to Frankfurt, Germany from Orlando and then after a short flight to Paris it was 11 hours to Mauritius. Economy as always.
